Whether it be power, water or telecommunications utilities, non-ferrous metal theft is a major problem these days. Not only can the theft of actual copper be significant in its self, but the potential damage caused to systems when copper is stolen and the disruption caused to customers can be immense.
In order to combat this growing problem, CSS provide two highly reliable security systems that can be installed without the need for an alarm engineer in a matter of a few minutes. Both systems are specifically designed for external use and are highly immune to false activations by birds, cats, dog, foxes etc..
For sites that may require several detectors, the HX GPRS and VX GPRS systems can run up to two slave units of the same design (but with RF communication back to the main GPRS unit) providing they are located within 5 meters of the GPRS unit.
Both systems are fully (ARC) Alarm Receiving Centre monitored. For companies that have their own monitoring stations, the GPRS feed can be routed directly to your own control room. In addition, users can access our secure servers 24/7 using a secure PIN code and view the status of one or many systems in real time.
