The VX detector whether it is GSM or GPRS communicating (both wireless) is a dual optic detector that is mounted 1 meter above the ground pointed across the entrance. The dual optic technology is immune to small animals such as cats, dogs, foxes and birds etc. and has a maximum detection length of 12 meters (adjustable).
