Farm Security has always been a problem but in the present economy, more and more farms are suffering plant and material theft. Traditional security systems are almost impossible to implement in such rural locations due to lack of power and or telephone lines. The RLAS GSM alarm for farms hails a revolution in farm and rural security systems.
The RLAS GSM Farm Alarm has been designed to protect multiple farm buildings and entrances and consists of a GSM communications unit contained within an impact and water proof IP65 Peli case. The case also houses the battery packs and for ease of portability, the arm / disarm switch and two PIR’s which are removed at the time of deployment. The case can then be concealed anywhere on site, out of the way.
Once the RLAS GSM Farm Alarm has been powered up and the control case concealed, it is simply a matter of putting up the PIR’s (2 come with the system as standard and can be expanded to 30) either with screws or high tack sticky pads and arming the system via the wireless arm / disarm switch that should be mounted close to the entrance / exit. The system can then be left for up to 12 months before batteries will need to be changed.

Restricted Access
Living and working in the countryside often means that properties have multiple access points and this results in difficulty monitoring who is accessing the property and when. The RLAS GSM Farm Alarm provides the ability to cover all access points with standard of animal friendly security beams that will notify owners via mobile ‘phone when an access point has been breached and which access point it is. This allows the user to respond immediately and at the correct location during the hours the system is active. If you have suffered theft from farms or other rural locations, the RLAS GSM Farm Alarm will put you in control of farm security.
Driveways
If you have multiple or long driveways that are obscured from view, the RLAS GSM Farm Alarm makes and ideal driveway alarm or driveway alert system. Using the animal friendly dual beam sensors, you can be assured that any activation sent to your mobile ‘phone is a reliable indicator that a person or persons are accessing your driveway.
Storage areas
If you need to secure multiple buildings on one farm, traditional wired security systems can become very expensive, especially from a cabling point of view.
